04 Nov Two principles of life
A traveller crossing the mountains met an elderly man who was trying hard to plant a little almond tree. Knowing that almond trees need many years to grow up, he told the man:
“It seems strange to me that a man at your age plants a tree which requires such a long time to grow up!”
And the old man said: “I like living my life based on two principles. The one principle is that I will live forever. The other one is that this is my last day.”
