Who are you, reader,
\nreading my poems
\nan hundred years hence?<\/p>\n

I cannot send you one single flower
\nfrom this wealth of the spring,
\none single streak of gold from yonder clouds.
\nOpen your doors and look abroad.
\nFrom your blossoming garden
\ngather fragrant memories
\nof the vanished flowers of
\nan hundred years before.<\/p>\n

In the joy of your heart
\nmay you feel the living joy
\nthat sang one spring morning,
\nsending its glad voice across
\nan hundred years.<\/p>\n
