\nListen then. I had made up my mind not to reveal myself to you but, it looks like I have no choice so, here goes: The man you see before you is a god. The god of Wealth!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Chremylus:
\nWhat? You bastard! Why didn\u2019t you tell us before? All this time and not a peep out of you! <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Cario:
\nHahaha!You? The god of Wealth? In these rags? Oh, dear, dear Apollo! Apollo and all the other gods and spirits in the heavens! Dear Zeus!Hahaha! You must be joking, right?You? The god of wealth?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Wealth:
\nAbsolutely! Me, the god of wealth!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Chremylus:
\nIn person?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Wealth:
\nThe person himself! Wealth by name!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Chremylus:
\nBut\u2026 but you stink!Where have you been that made you so pongy?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Wealth:
\nI\u2019ve been to see that old miser, Patrocles, who\u2019s never had a wash in his entire life.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Chremylus:
\nAh!
\nRight! Well, tell me, how the hell did you end up losing your sight?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Wealth:
\nZeus did it to me! He hates mortals, that god!\u00a0 I used to threaten him when I was young that I\u2019d only visit the mortals who were honourable, wise and virtuous, so he went and plucked my eyes out so that I couldn\u2019t see who\u2019s who.
\nSee? that\u2019s the sort of hatred Zeus has for the good folk on earth.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Chremylus:
\nBut they\u2019re the only ones who honour him: the good and the virtuous!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Wealth:
\nBut of course!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Chremylus:
\nAnd now? If you were to get your sight back, would you still avoid the crooks?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Wealth:
\nBut of course I would. I hate them!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Chremylus:
\nYou\u2019d be visiting the virtuous again, would you?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Wealth:
\nCertainly. It\u2019s been such a long time since I saw a virtuous man!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Chremylus:
\nI can believe that! Me too. I haven\u2019t seen a virtuous man for a long time either and I\u2019ve got my eyesight!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Wealth:
\nRight. Now you know all about me, so\u2026 let me go!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Chremylus:
\nNo way! By Zeus! In fact, now we\u2019ll get an even tighter grip on you!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Wealth:
\nI knew it!See? Didn\u2019t I say that you two would be giving me the shits?<\/span><\/span><\/span>
\nChremylus:
\nNo, no. Hang on, Wealth!Let me explain and don\u2019t insist in running away. See, I am a virtuous man. You\u2019ll never find a more virtuous man than me, anywhere!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Wealth:
\nHa! That\u2019s what they all say but the moment they grab a hold of me, the moment they become\u2026 wealthy, that\u2019s when they become unbearably and utterly evil!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
