A <\/span><\/span>traveller<\/span><\/span><\/span> crossing <\/span><\/span><\/span>the mountains met an elderly man who was <\/span><\/span>trying hard<\/span><\/span><\/span> to plant a little almond <\/span><\/span>tree.<\/span><\/span><\/span> Knowing <\/span><\/span>that<\/span><\/span><\/span> almond <\/span><\/span>trees need <\/span><\/span><\/span>many years to grow up, <\/span><\/span>he<\/span><\/span><\/span> told <\/span><\/span>the<\/span><\/span><\/span> man<\/span><\/span><\/span>: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“It seems strange <\/span><\/span>to me<\/span><\/span><\/span> that a man <\/span><\/span>at <\/span><\/span><\/span>your age plants a tree <\/span><\/span>which requires<\/span><\/span><\/span> s<\/span><\/span>uch a long time<\/span><\/span><\/span> to grow up!”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

And the <\/span><\/span>old man<\/span><\/span><\/span> said: “I like <\/span><\/span>living<\/span><\/span><\/span> my life <\/span><\/span>based on t<\/span><\/span><\/span>wo principles. <\/span><\/span>The one principle <\/span><\/span><\/span>is that I will live forever. The other <\/span><\/span>one is<\/span><\/span><\/span> that this is my last day.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
